In anticipation of the opening this summer of the former Revel Casino Hotel Atlantic City and after that, TEN, Ocean Resort Casino, has begun taking applications for several positions at the Atlantic City, New Jersey property.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that resort casino situated on the AC Boardwalk is taking applications for the following positions: front office manager, casino controller, director of training and development, IT support technician, business analysts, restaurant chefs and more.

The Atlantic City casino was sold by then owner, Florida-based developer Glenn Straub, on Jan. 4, 2018, to Colorado developer Bruce Deifik’s group, AC OCEAN WALK LLC, for $200 million. The opening of the Ocean Resort Casino will reportedly coincide with the opening of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, which is located at the site of the former Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino.

According to an early report from the Press of Atlantic City, when reopened the Boardwalk property will include 138,000 square feet of gaming space featuring 2,200 slot machines, 100 table games and if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns a federal sports betting ban, plans for a “best in market” sports book. Ocean Resort Casino will also reportedly maintain the 165,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, in addition to the 5,700 seat concert hall with room for possible future expansion.

When he purchased the property, Deifik reportedly said, “We are incredibly excited that we were able to take advantage of the opportunity to acquire this tremendous property at a time when Atlantic City is seeing great economic strides.”

“Now the city has a number of exciting new projects with our property and the Hard Rock, as well as Stockton University’s new campus and the expansion of the medical center.”

Late last month, British online gaming software supplier GameAccount Network revealed the signing of a multi-year deal with Ocean Resort Casino’s new owner. As a complement to the new casino, the Atlantic City property reportedly intends to offer real-money online gaming and sportsbetting utilizing the New Jersey-licensed platform from GameAccount Network, while also integrating these propositions with its on-site rewards program by way of the London-based firm’s Patent3 innovation.
