Tak Chun Group relocates resources to coming Parisian Macao Casino Resort

Following yesterday’s news that Iao Kun Group Holding Company Limited had closed its operation inside the Sands Cotai Central, fellow Macau VIP junket operator Tak Chun Group has reportedly “suspended” its high-roller offering at the MGM Macau Grand Casino Resort.

According to a report from GGRAsia, Tak Chun Group is one of the largest VIP gambling operators in Macau and intends to relocate its resources from the MGM Macau Grand Casino Resort to the new Parisian Macao Casino Resort on the Cotai Strip once this venue opens its doors to the public on September 13.

Although Tak Chun Group revealed that it had run 15 VIP gaming tables at the MGM Macau Grand Casino Resort, which is operated by MGM Resorts International subordinate MGM China Holdings Limited, it declined to divulge the scale or nature of its planned facilities for the Parisian Macao Casino Resort.

Las Vegas Sands Corporation subsidiary Sands China Limited was earlier granted permission to run 100 new-to-market live-dealer mass-market gaming tables at its Parisian Macao Casino Resort while this offering is set to be expanded with 25 further tables in January before an equal number appear during the first months of 2018. Last month saw it explain that the new $2.7 billion development had the capacity for up to 450 gaming tables while Tak Chun Group confirmed that it now additionally operates some 15 VIP gaming tables at the nearby $4.2 billion Wynn Palace Cotai, which opened for business on August 22.

GGRAsia moreover reported that Macau VIP junket operator SunCity Group Limited is also due to run an unspecified number of high-roller tables inside the Parisian Macao Casino Resort along with local rival Guangdong Group (Macau) Limited.
